David Orr, Deputy D.A. for Jackson County Circuit Judge

VOTE FOR EXPERIENCE AND INTEGRITY, NOT FOR MONEY AND CONNECTIONS.

Jackson County deserves a judge with the right experience.
Most jury trials are criminal cases. The other candidate took office in 2011 as a political appointee, having never handled a criminal jury trial. David Orr is the only candidate with active experience in prosecuting crime. Over the past 17 years, he has handled thousands of cases, including murder, major assault, domestic violence and child abuse. He has tried more than 100 cases before a jury.

Oregon courts should be free from financial influence.
Oregon needs unbiased judges who do not accept campaign money. The other candidate’s  financial disclosures reveal campaign contributions from attorneys, law firms, and out-of-state sources (

Oregon courts should be free from political influence.
Two-thirds of Jackson County judges took office as unelected political appointees. Protecting this political appointment system, they now give their official endorsements to the next appointee. This circular perpetuation scheme works well for appointees and the local politicians supporting it, but does not benefit the people. Judges should be chosen by the people.
David Orr represents experience, transparency, and integrity in public service.  As judge, he will continue to protect victims of crime, while judging all cases openly and fairly.

DON'T LET MONEY AND POLITICAL CONNECTIONS CHOOSE OUR JUDGES.
